Emmaus Houston Vision
Nathaniel and Catherine want to make Jesus known to the young men involved in sexual exploitation in Houston. They want to begin a ministry grounded in the hope of transformation through Christ in alignment with the values of Emmaus Ministries. Nathaniel and Catherine like to use the metaphor of a family to describe their mission for the men of the streets. Many of the men have lost contact with their own families, and Nathaniel and Catherine want to offer those things that families normally would provide: shelter, material assistance, spiritual guidance, and emotional concern. But the Saylor's mission is more than a metaphor; they want their life, their ministry and their marriage to be marked with a generous love that welcomes the hustlers of Houston into their family and into the family of God.
